You&#8217;ve probably heard the catch phrase before. <a href="http://www.funderstanding.com/content/right-brain-vs-left-brain" title="Funderstanding">Funderstanding</a> says that left brain thinking refers to the side of your brain that is <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=logical" title="logical">logical</a>, <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/sequential" title="sequential">sequential</a>, <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/rational" title="rational">rational</a>, <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/analytical" title="analytical">analytical</a>, <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/objective" title="objective">objective</a>, and sees things in <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/parts" title="parts">parts</a>.</p>
<p><strong>Left brain thinkers</strong> are very <strong>logical</strong> and <strong>goal oriented</strong>. Their <strong>sequential</strong> thinking allow them to accomplish task in a more <strong>organized</strong> fashion. They <strong>enjoy lists</strong> and mapping out their steps. They enjoy being able to <strong>mark tasks off</strong> of their todo lists. They are very <strong>rational</strong> in their communication. They <strong>articulate their words well verbally and listen very well</strong>. They are very analytical in their operations and <strong>focus on the objectives</strong>. They see the whole picture in <strong>pieces</strong>.</p>
<p><span id="more-325"></span><strong>Left brain thinkers</strong> are driven by goals and the ability to <strong>reach certain objectives</strong> and <strong>worldly things</strong>. They base most of their decisions on <strong>logic</strong>, <strong>rational</strong>, and <strong>analysis</strong> of the overall objectives. <strong>Left brain thinkers</strong> measure their success by their ability to reach objectives.</p>

You&#8217;ve probably heard the catch phrase before. <a href="http://www.funderstanding.com/content/right-brain-vs-left-brain" title="Funderstanding">Funderstanding</a> says that <strong>right brain thinking</strong> refers to the side of your brain that is <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/random" title="random">random</a>, <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/intuitive" title="intuitive">intuitive</a>, <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/holistic" title="holistic">holistic</a>, <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/synthesize" title="synthesizing">synthesizing</a>, <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/subjective" title="subjective">subjective</a>, and sees the <a href="http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/whole" title="whole">whole</a> picture.</p>
<p>Right brain thinkers are <strong>creative</strong> and <strong>innovative</strong>. Their <strong>random</strong> minds allow them think <strong>outside the box</strong> and approach situations with an open mind allowing for <strong>subjectivity</strong>. As they take a <strong>holistic</strong> approach to many situations they try and <strong>synthesize</strong> their environments and resources to gain a <strong>complete experience</strong>. They work well in teams because they can <strong>appreciate all the team members</strong> and what they are able to contribute to the team. Right brain try and <strong>value many of the small things</strong> that can be overlooked.</p>
<p><span id="more-274"></span><strong>Right brain thinkers</strong> are driven by their <strong>intuition</strong>. They base many of their decisions on the way that they <strong>feel</strong>. <em>They may not be able to prove why something will work but they know it will. This type of reasoning is why right brain thinkers are termed as visionaries.</em></p>
